Emily was extremely friendly and easy to talk to – cut my hair beautifully, extremely happy with it. Im usually livid after haircuts as i’m never happy with the new hairstyle but this time i’ve been over the moon. Will definitely be back every 8 weeks. Couldn’t recommend her enough for a ladies cut! (she also cuts my boyfriends hair and his hair cut is always 10/10)

Not easy to find, but when I did appointment was bang on time 6.30 on a Friday evening very convenient for me, Ashley was friendly and welcoming and did a great job on hair that hadn’t seen a stylist for over 14 months and as it was my first visit 1/2 price. Will definitely be going back.

Ashley did an excellent job on my two grandsons. He knew exactly what they wanted and did them both really well. Both were very pleased with the results as was their mother. He even managed to give me a beard trim while we were there. Would not hesitate to recommend him.

As expected Ashley’s done it again! He’s made it possible for me to see my ears again and more than just my eyes! When I went in yesterday I had the most overgrown bush on the top and bottom of my head you’ve ever seen, but now, a smash on skin fade and beard trim, I feel 10 stone lighter and like an actual human again! I was really happy to receive a Fantastic service and especially during the restrictions which are upon us. Akg remain very professional during this challenging time.
The service it’s self was fantastic, I relaxed and let Ashley take full control. He gently groomed my head in ways it’s never been touched before. The build up was special and eagerly anticipated. Then simultaneously, he sprayed his bottle all over me and my head burst free with a sweet and salty scent. I sneezed at the same time which made the experience even more enjoyable. I walked out feeling rejuvenated, albeit I had a slight limp. Well worth the money.

Ash is a great barber and I plan to use his services for the foreseeable future. I’ve tried a few places in Wycombe, Beaconsfield and Marlow. The ability to book my appointment and get my hair and beard taken care is exactly what I need. If you’re reading this – I’d recommend booking in with him.

AKG give very good cuts at good prices – probably the best in Henley. They’re also very diligent at obeying all the tedious COVID regulations that must be obeyed at the moment.

Emily cuts and styles my hair the same as an expensive hairdressers in Henley. She gives me advice on how to look after my hair in between cuts to keep it healthy.

Professional friendly establishment

I’ve tried a lot of different barbers in Henley and have never before been satisfied with a cut. Most seem not to listen and chop the same amount off regardless. I came across AKG by accident doing an internet search. It’s a little bit out of the way but I’m happy to make the extra effort. The booking process is seamless and Ashley is friendly and welcoming. Most importantly he listens to what the customer wants and does a mean haircut that I’m more than happy with. I’ll definitely be back again.

I cannot recommend Ashley enough ???? I have had a terrible time of trying to get my 2 year olds hair cut , to the point he would be screaming the place down as he doesn’t like anyone touching his hair,and the hair cut would never end well. Today we had a break through ???? we had screaming at the start but with a lot of patience and care. My son became very comfortable around Ashley , he gave my son a comb to use , so he could comb mummy’s hair and Ashley even combed his own in front of him. My son would not sit in the chair but Ashley was happy to accommodate my sons needs by letting me hold him while he cut his hair . This is the first time EVER! He has let anyone do this ???? we even got to the point where my son stood by himself and let Ashley touch his hair without him clinging on to me. For dear life . I’m so happy that this definitely deserved a good review. So any mums out there struggling with a toddler please pop on down to Ashley ???? plus he has lots of sweets to keep the little darlings happy ????
